Wow! First time that I had been to this famous eatery after living in the area for 30 years. How bad is that. Fabulous... food and service and pleasantly surprised at the final bill. Not cheap but well worth it. Can't wait to go back.read more

Had a birthday lunch here. The whole experience was top-notch. Nice environment, food was spot on. What made it even... more memorable was the courteous and professional service from our charming waitress and the maitre d. The latter offered some great advice on wine. Both were unobtrusive and really know their jobs. It's great to find such professionals in hospitality. We will definitley return. Many thanks to the whole team at the Drum and Monkey.read more

2 excellent meals in a week.Staff who actually care however delicate the situation...my parents have been coming here... for over 25 years...new chef, young and dynamic...oysters were stella..dauphinoise a William Fullers favourite. All in all great value.. i just think the wine list could be more interesting( sorry). All in all lunch or dinner a total treat for a fair fair price.read more

Luckily managed to get a table at short notice on a Thursday evening and couldn't have been happier with our meal. The... food was delicious, we drank some lovely wines and the staff were really attentive and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back when next in Harrogate.read more

Came upon the restaurant by chance at lunchtime, had the platter so fresh and tasty. Oysters were some of the best I... have ever had. We will be going back, thank you to the very friendly and attentive staff who looked after us.read more
